The Massachusetts Tree Wardens’ and Foresters’ Association is recognized as
the nations oldest urban and community tree protection organization, having
been formed in 1913 for the preservation and protection of public trees.

Tree Wardens are municipal positions required under Massachusetts General
Laws to protect public shade trees within the 351 cities and towns of the
Commonwealth.
RECIPIENTS
The Massachusetts Tree Wardens’ and Foresters’ Association strives
to recognize its members professional commitment and dedication.

The President's Award is given by the current President  to recognize
an individual who has given exemplary service to the Association or
industry and/or who has been a personal or professional mentor to
the President.
